Hello, my name is Nick Antoniou and I am a data scientist with a Master of Business Analytics from MIT. My passion lies in building end-to-end machine learning solutions, combining analytical thinking with practical coding and deployment skills to tackle real-world challenges.
My data science career started as a data engineer in consulting. There, I focused both on the technical side of understanding how to handle and structure databases (deploying ETL processes and writing SQL queries), and the business side of coordinating cross-functional teams and extracting real business value. At the same time, I stepped into research, co-authoring a paper on novel methods for presenting and querying heterogeneous data as graphs, presented at the 2022 IEEE International Conference on Big Data.
Subsequently, I joined an international tech company as a data scientist, honing my technical expertise by developing and refactoring machine learning pipelines for production environments, and creating explainable AI dashboards. I further strengthened these skills during my Master's, combining rigorous theoretical coursework with practical experiences through my data science capstone at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and as a research assistant at MIT's Operations Research Center.
I build interpretable, production‑ready models that people trust, guided by curiosity and collaboration. At Satalia I created and ran the Data‑Science Knowledge‑Sharing platform, and at MIT I served as a bridge between several clubs and the MBAn program. When I’m not tuning algorithms, you’ll usually find me in motion—swimming at sunset in the Aegean, photographing new places, cooking Greek dishes, or hosting an F1 or Christopher Nolan watch‑party. I hold dual EU/US citizenship.

I’m actively seeking new projects and career opportunities that spark creativity. If you’re looking for a dedicated professional to join your team, let’s start a conversation.
